All you need to know about Tattoo Removal

Treatment Info

The Laser Beautique uses the revolutionary Q-Switched Laser, with this technology we are now able to effectively remove tattoos of any colours from any area. The Q-Switched laser sends an intense beam of light which is directed at the tattoo to shatter and break down the ink into manageable particles that are then eliminated by the body’s lymphatic elimination system.

The pigment in the unwanted tattoo is all that is targeted by the laser therefore the treatment is safe for the surrounding skin and there is little risk of scarring or skin damage. Over the course of a short series of treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, the tattoo will gradually fade away. Darker, more visible ink colours such as black, red and blue are the first to be dissolved, followed by lighter colours such as green and yellow

The treatment may be uncomfortable, the sensation is similar to that of getting a tattoo. We are able to offer topical anaesthetics prior to treatment.

The Technology

At the Laser Beautique, we use the Harmony laser, which offers treatments for vein removal, amongst many other conditions and skin concerns. The Harmony laser is at the forefront of laser and light technology- capable of erasing skin imperfections, turning back the clock and providing safe and dramatic results.

The different hand pieces allow for a tailor-made treatment program to be designed to cater to your specific skin concerns.

Tattoos can also be successfully treated with the Harmony QSwtch module, which successfully targets and destroys the pigment from tattoo inks.

With Harmony’s Acne AFT module- acne bacterium are targeted with intense blue wavelengths, destroying them and reducing associated infection and inflammation. For treating irregular pigmentation concerns, the DYE VL or VP Cooled modules are used- targeting red/brown lesions respectively. The ClearLift module offers a lunch-time facelift, successfully turning back the clock and providing an immediate result without any downtime! Unsightly spider veins, are effectively reduced with our Long Pulsed YAG laser. Uneven skin texture and photo-damaged skin are treated with the ablative iPixel module, which causes controlled micro injury to the skin, triggering the skin’s own natural healing and regenerative mechanisms.
